pointerInteroperability issues training and the CPX's conducted by the Department are an important stage in the preparation for work in a multinational milieu. The trainees obtain additional knowledge as specialists of the different branches and services of the army to command and manage special forces during crises and conflicts, get acquainted with the planning procedures and standardization agreements used in NATO armies, and acquire specialized foreign language training.

pointerTrainees acquire qualifications for performing tasks within the framework of NATO, when participating in missions, exercises and in the composition of multinational formations.

pointerThey build up command and control culture for work;

develop skills for operational thinking, fast adaptation to a changing environment and skills for decision-making in multinational teams. They learn

standards and other regulating documents.

pointerThey acquire communicative skills in the official languages of NATO.

pointerResearch in the Department is carried out in conformity with the policy of the MoD and the requirements of the General Staff with the purpose to solve important scientific and applied research tasks in the field of interoperability enhancement and adoption of new warfare theories, strategies and doctrines.

pointerProcesses of the development of visions, concepts, strategies, doctrines and other national documents dealing with the military aspects of security and defence are managed.

Perspectives

pointerAlong with the changes of the interoperability in the Alliance , of the training for coalition and joint structures during UN missions, some changes in the department are envisioned.

pointerThe establishment of a Centre for the Training of Military Personnel for PSO and UN Missions, the modernization of the CAX and Simulation Centre, and the involvement of experienced instructors are imminent.

New methods of course management, computer models and simulation and distance learning management are being implemented in the training process of the department.
