Mission

spaceThe mission of training is to prepare highly skilled specialists with an educational degree "masterŐs", who should be able to organize and lead logistics in operational and tactical formations of the Bulgarian armed forces, occupy logistic positions in joint national or coalition headquarters in accordance with NATO standards and lead a national supporting element and integrated multinational logistic formation. They should be trained to make leadersŐ decisions in the field of national and multinational logistics and to be proved as leaders. Their actions should be equally effective at peacetime and during crises, conflicts and at war.

Main goals:

circleTo study regularities, character, content and principles of logisticsŐ operational and tactical formations in preparation and conducting independent and joint national and coalition combat engagements;

circleTo apply contemporary methods of logistics management and to form new command and leadership values in learners to help them work in the Armed forces which is in process of modernization and in the structure of multinational combined operational forces, during crises and at war;

circleTo develop skills of operational thinking, quick adaptation to changing environment and skills to make own decisions as well as possessing the will to accomplish them successfully;

circleLearners should acquire proper knowledge to become logistics specialists, adapting their outlook to the role and place of the forces in the process of building up and evolution of civil and military relations and the role of the military factor in defending national interests;

General tasks:

circle To develop their specialized training and further development as logistics specialists of operational and tactical formations;

circle To be acquainted with theory and practice of how to conduct an armed combat in accordance with contemporary realities and modern time challenges;

circleTo set the necessary amount of knowledge and skills to the highest national and international standards in the field of logistics in order to be compatible with NATO analogues;

circleTo develop practical habits and skills for work in a team when making decisions and using contemporary methods in accordance with the Euro-Atlantic orientation of the country;

circleTo form discussible and creative atmosphere at work and develop conditions of exchanging experience during participation in international meetings, conferences and exercises, to create a modern culture of communication;
