Mission

The mission of training is officers to be able to acquire bachelorХ degree and to be prepared to work in operational and tactical formations from the services of the armed forces and the command of the strategic CIS. To be trained to make leadersХ decisions, to become CIS specialists and proved leaders.

Training is directed towards their accomplishment as commanders of signalsХ formations and officers from the CIS body, possessing the necessary knowledge, abilities, mentality and command and leadership values needed for the participation of the Bulgarian forces in NATO structures. Their actions should be equally effective at peace time, during crises, conflicts and at war.

Main goals:

To study character, content, principles and regularities to organize communication and information support of command and leadership when preparing and conducting combat engagements by the operational and tactical formations of the Bulgarian armed forces;

To change learnerХs way of thinking and to form modern command and leadership values needed for their work in the structure of multinational combined operational forces, during crises and at war;

To develop an ability of operational thinking, quick adaptation to changing environment and skills to make own decisions as well as possessing the will to be accomplished successfully.

Learners should acquire proper knowledge to become specialists, adapt their outlook to the role and place of the forces in the process of building up and evolution of civil and military relations and the role of the military factor in defending national interests.

General tasks:

Learners should be acquainted with theory and practice of conducting operations by operational and tactical formations of the Bulgarian armed forces in accordance with contemporary realities and modern time challenges;

To give them fundamental preparation for their future development as CIS specialists from tactical and operational formations and headquarters, as well as from formations of the strategic CIS command;

To form practical habits and skills to work in a team when making decisions to develop CIS in using contemporary methods and technologies in accordance with NATO membership of the country;

To form discussible and creative atmosphere at work and to develop conditions of exchanging experience during participation in international meetings, conferences and exercises, to create a modern culture of communication.
