Meeting of the ADL Working Group of the Consortium of Defense
Academies and Security Studies Institutes

The meeting of the Advanced Distributed Learning Working Group of the Consortium of Defense Academies and Security Studies Institutes took place from 23 to 25 April 2008 in Rakovski Defense and Staff College . The aim of the Working Group is to enhance training and interoperability among the educational institutions through the development of web-based platforms and course content.

51 international participants from defense academies and research institutes took part . Senior Lecturer Greta Keremidchieva, Co-chair of the ADL Working Group, took part on the Bulgarian side . The participation of a Bulgarian participant in the Working Group leadership is prestigious for the Defense College and the Ministry of Defense.

One of the priority projects of the Consortium of Defense Academies is the development of the English Language Training Enhancement Course (ELTEC) where Bulgaria has the leading role.
