Greek military delegation led by Lieutenant General Panaiotis Zaras – Chief of “History” Directorate at the General Staff of the Army of the Republic of Greece visited Military History and Lessons Learned Center at “Rakovski” National Defense and Staff College in the period of 28 th- to 30 th May, 2008 . The visit was a part of the program for cooperation between the two institutions and the implementation of a common project, related to the military history of the two countries and the publication of collection of works in Bulgarian and Greek by the end of 2008.

Major-General Georgios Evangelatus – Deputy chief of “History” Directorate at the General Staff of the Greek Army and three military officers from the same directorate were in the delegation.

The work meetings were hosted by Col . Assoc.proff. Stancho Stanchev , PhD – chief of the Military History and Lessons Learned Center . Representatives of the Center – Col. Senior researcher Anatoli Prokopiev, PhD, Lt.Col. Rossitsa Russeva PhD, Senior researcher Rumen Nikolov participated in the discussions.
