Korean delegation, leaded by the director of the Research Institute of National Security Affairs of Republic of Korea Dr. Yong-Sub Han visited Rakovski Defense and Staff College on 4 September, 2007 . A briefing in issues concerning the tasks, the perspectives for education, as well as the academic curriculum at Rakovski Defense and Staff College , was presented. Prospects and requirements for the education of officers and civilian the field of security and defense were discussed.

The workshop focused on the new trends in the training in the Bulgarian military institution and enhanced the development of the cooperation in the field of security and defense.
