INFORMATIONAL DAY FOR PRESENTING COURSES WAS HELD IN “G.S.RAKOVSKI” NATIONAL DEFENCE AND STAFF COLLEGE

Informational day about a new training programme in organizational transformation which is being developed in cooperation with the College of Management on the Informational Resources at US National University of Defense was held at “G.S.Rakovski” National Defense and Staff College on September 17th,2007. The Commandant of “G.S.Rakovski” College gave a welcoming speech and opened the forum.

The programme consists of eight courses. There were three lecturers from the College of Management on the Informational Resources. A fourth lecturer is soon expected to join the others. Three lecturers from “G.S.Rakovski” National Defense and Staff College who had been trained in the same programme made presentations.

The head of the project is the major general of the reserves Sabi Sabev. Dr. Mary M cCully is the head of the project on the American part . The programme will be presented to different institutions – Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and Science etc. There is a course in inter-institutional cooperation related to all agencies and institutions in the structure of the central and local authorities. The rest of the courses are also related to the needs of the other institutions.

The transformation courses are of key significance because that is an ongoing process. They are providing a training assistance which has not been available up to now the major general of the reserves Sabi Sabev emphasized.
