Italian Military Delegation Visits Rakovski Defence and Staff College

Italian military delegation from the Center of High Researches in the field of defence and the Italian Higher General Staff Institute visits Rakovski Defence and Staff College on 5-th and 6-th February 2008.

The aim of the visit is to establish effective co-operation between the two member EU countries.

In the course of two days the executive body of Rakovski Defence and Staff College, representatives of its two departments – “National Security and Defence” and “Command and Staff”, will meet the members of the delegation to discuss problems connected with the organization and management of the Armed Forses of the two countries; the Italian method of approach to the problems of the national security and their contribution to the UNIFIL mission /the mission of the UN in Lebanon/; the methods of teaching in the two higher educational institutions and evaluation of their programs of studies. The further intensification of the international co-operation especially nowadays, when Bulgaria is a member country of EU will be discussed too.
